Responsibilities

  • Developing and organizing in coming content for the various digital marketing platforms: Instagram, Facebook, E-mailers, and other digital real estate (online/ecommerce).
  • Curate & development of a monthly rolling content plan.
  • Visual and editorial development Whisper blogging platform.
  • Development and design of visual assets for ecommerce and blog platforms and social media.
  • Management of the digital asset library includes working with suppliers to acquire appropriate assets for flighting.
  • Production of trade marketing plans upon brand request.
  • Production of press packs for new launches.
  • Image and video manipulation, formatting and resizing.
  • Development of Emailer, Instagram / Facebook Stories development
  • Development of seasonal visual shoots & content creation
  • Development of local usage of international campaigns for newness, novelties, and priorities
  • Report back on database performance
  • Report back on blog performance
  • Addition Ad Hoc graphic design tasks
  • Management and creation of launch calendar every quarter
  • Measure likes, comments, and shares to gauge audience interaction.
  • Track how many people see the content to assess its visibility.
  • Monitor the increase in followers over time.
  • Evaluate how often viewers click on links or calls-to-action in the content.
  • If applicable, track the number of views for videos to understand content popularity.
  • Understand the age, location, and interests of your audience to tailor content accordingly.
  • Measure how many viewers take desired actions, such as subscribing or purchasing.
  • Assess the quality and regularity of content production.
  • Track partnerships and mentions to evaluate collaborations and brand recognition.
Job Qualifications and Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a creative field
  • Proficiency in programs such as Adobe Suite, Photoshop, InDesign, QuarkXPress, and Illustrator
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Minimum of two years’ experience in graphic design
  • Proficiency in using email marketing software (eg Mailchimp, metrilo)
  • Attention to detail
  • Portfolio of work with a wide range of creative projects
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Time management and organizational skills
  • Familiarity with HTML and CSS preferred.
  • Knowledge of layouts, graphic fundamentals, typography, print, and web
  • Experience with both print and digital media
  • Proficiency in writing, editing, and proofreading.
  • Strong storytelling abilities to create engaging and compelling content.
  • Understanding of various digital platforms (social media, blogs, websites) and their dynamics.
  • Graphic design skills and proficiency with relevant tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva).
  • Basic video editing skills may be an advantage.
  • Knowledge of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) principles to enhance content visibility.
  • Experience in managing and growing social media accounts.
  • Knowledge of trends and best practices on platforms like Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, etc.
  • Basic photography skills for creating visually appealing content.
  • Ability to use analytics tools to measure and analyze the performance of content.
  • Capability to adapt to changing trends and algorithms in the digital space.
  • Ability to tailor content for different audiences and platforms.
  • Effective time management to meet deadlines for content creation and delivery.
